Hazelnut Pumpkin Bread

Ingredients & Directions


3 c Sugar
1 c Cooking oil
4 Eggs
2 c Pumpkin
1 c Water
4 c Flour
2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Baking powder
2 c Chopped Oregon hazelnuts
2 ts Soda
1 c Raisins or chopped dates
1 ts Cloves
1 ts Cinnamon
1 ts Allspice
1 ts Nutmeg

Blend sugar and oil; add eggs and pumpkin. Sift flour, baking powder,
soda, salt and spices together. Add to first mixture, alternating
with the water. Add raisins or dates, then the hazelnuts. Divide
batter into three large greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 for 1 hour.
