Chocolate Cookie Cake

Ingredients & Directions


1 pk Chocolate cake mix 3 Eggs
1 1/4 c Water 1 c Chocolate sandwich cookies
1/2 c Butter or margarine — (about 10) — crushed
Softened 1 cn Vanilla frosting

Heat oven to 350. Generously grease and flour 2 9″ pans. Beat cake
mix, water, margarine and eggs in large bowl on low speed 30 seconds.
Beat on medium speed 2 minutes. Reserve 2 tbsp of the crushed
cookies. Fold remaining crushed cookies into batter. Pour into
pans. Bake 30 to 37 minutes. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans.
Cool cake completely. Crush reserved cookies finely; mix into
frosting. Fill layers and frost side and top of cake with frosting.
If, desired, garnish with additional chocolate cookies cut in half.
