Crusty Pound Cake

Ingredients & Directions


2 c Sugar
2 c Flour
1 ts Vanilla
1 c Shortening
6 Eggs

Cream sugar and shortening. Add eggs one at a time and beat well. Gradually
add flour then vanilla. Bake in a tube or Bundt pan at 300* for 1 hour or
until done. I usually bake it about 1 1/4- 1 1/2 hours.

I also add a dash or lemon flavoring. I’m sure you could use any type of
flavoring you like.
